MOTIVE IN PRAYER

Matthew 6 : 5 " And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward."

A critical look at this message you will realize that, Where they stood to pray is not the issue but the Why. Mostly our prayers are not answered because we get the Why wrong. In the verse above their Motive in prayer was for men to see. When the motives are right in prayer then there is a quick reply to that prayer. If the motive is for the approval and recognition from men Then it is wrong. But any other that will bring to God is right. The next time you stand to pray get your motive right.

Make this Confession :

From today anytime I stand in prayer with my motive will; right. In Jesus name. . . . Amen.
