1 CORINTHIANS 13:4 "Love suffereth long, and is kind; love envieth not; love vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up."(ASV)
The Demand of Love describes a person's desire and willingness to pay for the cost of Love. From the above scripture someone who is in love must be ready to pay the price of long suffering.
In long suffering a person's patience and endurance is tested, in long suffering the shock of surprises are dealt with. One dimension of the fruit of the Holy Spirit is long suffering, which means if we turn to the Holy Spirit in times of Love He is ever ready to aid us.
In Love, long suffering is not an option is a necessity.
Make this Confession :
Oh God grant me grace to suffer long in love.
